A Level and GCSE results Day
This week is a very important week for all Year 13 and Year 11 students. Tomorrow will be A Level results Day for Year 13 students and 12th August will be GCSE results Day for Year 11 students. Whilst the examination grading process has taken a very different format this year, final grades will be issued to schools and released to pupils in the usual way and will have the same currency as in any other year.
Pupils will be able to access their results online as usual and support will be available, both remotely and via face to-face appointments, from key staff who will be in school. Pupils and parents are asked not to visit school without first contacting us to make an appointment. This will enable us to ensure that the appropriate staff member is available to help you in a timely fashion.
In such extraordinary circumstances, we are very much looking forward to congratulating our pupils on their achievements as well as being able to advise them on next steps.
Schools are re-opening!
We are delighted to confirm that, in line with the announcement by the Prime Minister today, all pupils will be able to return to their boarding schools from Monday 8th March.
The schools will be in touch with further specific details regarding the reopening of both schools. This will include information surrounding optional testing prior to pupils’ return, bubble arrangements, arrival and departure procedures as well as an overview of our academic and co-curricular provision.
We anticipate that all schools will continue to operate similarly to last Michaelmas term. All the arrangements and procedures will be revisited and revised, if required, as the government provides further detail.
All the schools are all very much looking forward to seeing your children in two weeks’ time and are eager to return to classroom and school-based teaching and learning.
